Anhydrous Borax

Anhydrous borax (sodium tetraborate, anhydrate) is a white crystalline powder, odorless, highly soluble in water.

Formula

It is a salt of boric acid and sodium. Has weakly basic properties, used as flux, antiseptic, preservative and component in glass production.
